If the head unit is on and providing power to the line output converter and the speakers are sending a signal to it then it will keep the amp on and therefore the subs working just fine whether or not the engine is running. My question is if i replace all the speakers and add an amp on them where will the sync voice come from. I want to keep the factory headunit nav/sync but trash the sony stuff. It’s apparently just an upgrade amp with a sub and factory paper-cone speakers for anyone unaware. ( I can’t imagine how bad the standard stereo must sound ). I use a Scosche line output converter that also provides a remote turn-on signal to the amp based purely on whether or not it's receiving a signal from the speakers. Hi guys I just got my new 2022 F-150 Powerboost and I love it to deathbut the B&O system is severely disappointing. 2021+ Ford F150 - 2022 F150 B&O 8 speaker upgrade under 500 pt.1 - After picking up my new 2022 F150 XLT super crew cab 4x4 with the upgraded B&O 8 speaker stereo system and listening to it for a while, I was not overly impressed with the sound quality. The reason is because of the way that I prefer to install my subs. I had 2 10" subs in my last 2017 and the start/stop never was a problem at all. I have the stock 302a package and would be interested in the "best" replacement speakers to get some better quality audio.If the subs are installed correctly the start/stop isn't an issue. ![]() Making it a "requirement" to turn it off every time you get in the truck.
